Binz has its own very centrally located railway station, which is served by numerous IC and ICE connections from all over Germany. From the station, you can reach the pier and the surrounding hotels in just a few minutes on foot. If required, taxis are available at the station for a short transfer.

The nearest public airport is Rostock-Laage (RLG), approximately 140 kilometres from Binz. Another option is Heringsdorf Airport (HDF) on Usedom, which is about 70 kilometres away. The monumental building complex directly on the Prorer Wiek fascinates with its impressive dimensions and, thanks to modern exhibitions and the adjacent, wonderfully quiet sandy beach, is a perfect destination for a mix of culture and nature experience.
The Binzer Strand at the Kurhaus
The brilliant white sandy beach of Binz extends directly to the left and right of the Seebrücke and is easily accessible within a few minutes' walk after arriving by tender boat. This coastal section impresses with its extremely fine, stone-free sand as well as excellent water quality and offers an excellent flair thanks to the adjacent promenade with its magnificent Bäderarchitektur. The infrastructure is outstanding, as you can rent comfortable beach chairs directly on site and also find a large selection of upscale cafes and restaurants for a refreshment in between. It is best to secure your beach chair directly in the morning to enjoy the gentle sea breeze in the front row, and ideally plan your return way to the Seebrücke sixty to ninety minutes before the last tender trip.
The return journey to the Seebrücke Binz is very straightforward thanks to the compact structure of the Baltic seaside resort, allowing for a relaxed return to the ship. Since the pier is the central arrival point for the tender boats, you can reach your meeting point easily from all parts of the town.
Bäderbahn and Local Bus
The blue and white Binzer Bäderbahn shuttles regularly between the various districts and serves a stop directly at the Seebrücke forecourt. Additionally, the local buses of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen take you quickly to the Ortsmitte stop, from where it is just a few steps to the water.
Taxi
Central taxi ranks are located at the Binz station and the Kleinbahnhof, enabling a quick trip back to the Kurplatz. Taxis can be easily found at busy locations such as the Kurhaus or in front of the major hotels along the beach promenade, and will take you punctually to the agreed meeting point at the Seebrücke.
On Foot
A stroll along the central main street leads you directly and without detours to the clearly visible Seebrücke in the heart of the bay. The paths in town are level and easy to navigate thanks to clear signage, allowing you to enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the promenade until you reach the tender pier.
