Car

Barth is conveniently connected via the B105 federal road, which leads from the direction of Rostock and Stralsund. Travelers from the south reach the region via the A20 or the A19 and A24 towards Rostock, followed by the B105. In the center of Barth and near the harbor, various public parking options are available, including illuminated parking lots at the Osthafen or guarded parking spaces at the Stadthafen for short- and long-term parkers. In addition, some local providers and yacht charter companies offer parking spaces directly on the shipyard grounds, often within short distances of the moorings.

Train

Barth station is a central hub for rail and bus transport in the region. From many German cities, you can reach Velgast with Deutsche Bahn and from there take the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) directly and hourly to Barth. The harbor and city center are just a stone's throw from the station, so you can reach your ship comfortably on foot or with a short taxi ride.

Airplane

The nearest commercial airport is Rostock-Laage (RLG), around 58 kilometers from Barth. From there, the port can be reached in about an hour by taxi or rental car. Although Barth also has the Ostseeflughafen Stralsund-Barth, this is mainly used by general aviation and for private jets. Arriving the day before is recommended to start your cruise adventure relaxed and explore the picturesque surroundings of the Vineta city.

This cultural center of the Vineta city impresses with its magnificent Brick Gothic architecture and is also the ideal starting point for a relaxed walk through the lovingly restored old town with its small boutiques and inviting cafés on the market square. Returning to the ship

The city harbor of Barth is located directly adjacent to the historic center, allowing you to plan your return journey to your ship flexibly and safely.

On foot

From the market square and the impressive St.-Marien-Kirche, you can enjoy a comfortable stroll of less than ten minutes through the charming old town directly to the quay. The striking silhouette of the historic granary at the harbor serves as an ideal orientation guide and leads you directly back to the pier.

Public transport and bicycle

The buses of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen stop centrally at the train station and on Hafenstraße, making it easy to return from the surrounding area. Many guests also use the well-developed cycle paths from the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula and simply return their rental bikes directly in the harbor area in a timely manner thanks to the flat terrain.
