In the immediate vicinity, the impressive Mémorial ACTe museum, the lively Marché de la Darse spice market, and the historic Place de la Victoire invite you on discovery tours. Cruise ships dock at the central Terminal de Croisières at Quai Lardenoy, which is located directly in the city center and, thanks to its prime location, offers convenient access to all highlights and the picturesque alleys of the old town within just a few minutes' walk.
Pointe-à-Pitre is the maritime center of Guadeloupe and welcomes cruise guests at its modern terminal in the immediate vicinity of the cultural city center. Thanks to its central location on the island of Grande-Terre and its proximity to the international airport, check-in at the ship is quick and comfortable.
Airplane
Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes International Airport (PTP) is located only about 5 to 7 kilometers from the cruise terminal. Guests from the DACH region can reach the island conveniently with Condor direct flights from Frankfurt or via Paris with Air France and Corsair, with the onward journey to the port taking around 15 minutes due to the short distance.
Transfer & Taxi
After landing, there are plenty of taxis available at the airport to take passengers directly via the N1 and N4 national roads to the port entrance. In addition, many cruise lines offer organized shuttle services that meet guests directly at the terminal and guarantee a smooth luggage transfer to the cabin.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the time difference and the long flight time from Europe, arriving at least one day before embarkation is recommended.
