Cruise ships dock at Little Bay Pier, the modern heart of the island. From this central berthing point, the new town center, local restaurants, and various excursion zones are easily reachable in just a few minutes, inviting you to enjoy an authentic Caribbean experience.
Montserrat, often referred to as the "Emerald Isle of the Caribbean," welcomes cruise guests at the main port of Little Bay on the northwest coast. This is the island's primary and most modern port of call, where smaller cruise ships either dock directly or tender depending on their size. Due to the necessary long journey from the DACH region, it is recommended to arrive at least one day before embarkation to start your Caribbean adventure in a relaxed manner.
Airplane
Arrival to Montserrat typically occurs via V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU) on Antigua, which serves as the nearest international airport. From there, a short 20-minute connecting flight takes you to John A. Osborne Airport (MNI) on Montserrat, the island's only airport. Airlines such as Fly Montserrat and ABM Air offer these convenient connections.
Transfer & Shuttle
From John A. Osborne Airport (MNI), you can easily reach the port of Little Bay and your accommodation by taxi or rental car. The short drive takes only a few minutes, as the airport is conveniently located in the village of Gerald's near the port. Alternatively, there is a seasonal ferry connection from Antigua to Montserrat with a travel time of about 90 minutes, providing another option for transfer to the island's port.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
For a relaxed start to your journey and to avoid travel stress, an overnight stay on Montserrat before the cruise is highly recommended. Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will typically receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation.
