Tobermory is the picturesque gateway to Fathom Five National Marine Park and impresses with its prime location at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. For international guests from the DACH region, Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the nearest major airport, located approximately 270 to 300 kilometers southeast of Tobermory. The flight time from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is usually over seven hours, making a relaxed onward journey important. Plan for a driving time of approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours from the airport to Tobermory.
Auto
Tobermory is easily accessible from the south via Highway 6, which winds picturesquely along the Bruce Peninsula and provides a direct connection from cities such as Owen Sound. The drive from Toronto takes about 4 to 5 hours, depending on traffic. Parking is available on-site at both the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry terminal and in the town center. At the ferry terminal, daily parking fees during the sailing season are 10 CAD per day or 70 CAD per week, with the parking permit to be purchased at the terminal office and clearly displayed in the vehicle. In the city center, paid parking applies from mid-May to mid-October between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., with options for short-term parking (3 CAD/hour) and full-day parking (15 CAD/day), for example at Legion Street for larger vehicles.

Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation.
