From there, you can reach Hatston Pier directly by taxi in about 15 minutes; additionally, travelers frequently use well-coordinated connecting flights from Frankfurt or Munich via the Scottish mainland.

For arrival by car, use the A9 trunk road on the Scottish mainland to Scrabster or Gills Bay and take the ferry from there to the islands.
