Portrush is a charming seaside town on the north coast of Northern Ireland and serves as an exclusive gateway to the island's most spectacular natural wonders. The lively port town impresses with its unique location on a narrow peninsula and delights visitors with wide sandy beaches and a charming maritime atmosphere. World-famous attractions such as the fascinating Giant’s Causeway, the dramatically situated ruins of Dunluce Castle, and the renowned Royal Portrush Golf Club are located in the immediate vicinity. Cruise ships use Portrush Harbour as a berth or anchorage, from which guests reach the pier in the town center directly by tender boat. Thanks to this first-class connection, the cozy alleys, local boutiques, and the picturesque promenade are easily accessible within a few minutes' walk.

Airplane
The nearest airport is Derry Airport (LDY), approximately 37 kilometers away, from where bus transfers are possible in about 1 hour 30 minutes. Alternatively, Belfast International Airport (BFS), about 67 kilometers away, offers more flight connections; the journey by train and bus to Portrush takes about 2 hours 27 minutes from there. For international travelers from the DACH region, Dublin Airport (DUB) at a distance of about 265 kilometers is often an option, from which you can reach Portrush in about 3 to 3.5 hours via private transfer.
Car
Portrush is accessible via well-developed main roads along the Northern Irish coast. Arriving from the south, for example from Dublin Airport, takes you north on the M1 and then via the M2 and A26 to Coleraine, followed by a short drive directly to Portrush. From Belfast International Airport, take the scenic A2 along the coast. In Portrush town center, you will find various public parking options to park your vehicle.
Train
Portrush railway station is easily accessible and is the terminus of the line from Coleraine. From Coleraine, there are direct train connections to Belfast and other regions. The harbor and Portrush town center are within walking distance of the station, thanks to the central location of many hotels and restaurants on the Ramore Head peninsula.
Check-in & Embarkation
