Manila, the vibrant capital of the Philippines, welcomes travelers as a fascinating gateway to a world full of history and Asian dynamism. Cruise ships dock at the centrally located Pier 15 of Manila South Harbor, from where the historic center and the most important sights can be easily reached in just a few minutes.

The port is located directly in the heart of the Philippine capital and is therefore ideally connected to the international flight network as well as the city's most important tourist districts.
Airplane
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) serves as the main gateway for travelers from the DACH region and is located approximately 10 to 12 kilometers from the cruise terminals. Guests from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland can reach Manila comfortably via major hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, or Dubai and benefit from quick processing in the airport's modern terminals.
Transfer & Taxi
The safest way to get from the airport to the port is by using licensed airport taxis or the Grab ride-hailing service, which is widely used in Southeast Asia and offers fixed prices directly via the app. Thanks to the use of the NAIA Expressway and the Metro Manila Skyway, city traffic can be efficiently bypassed, meaning the travel time to the pier is approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the long flight time and the time difference, we recommend arriving at least one day before embarkation to start your vacation relaxed. Many first-class hotels in the Manila Bay or historic Intramuros districts are located in close proximity to the port and also offer an ideal starting point for short sightseeing tours before boarding.
Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
The same applies during the trip: for shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and the notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
