Transfer & Local Boat Connections
The Sabalana Islands are remote atolls and are typically reached by smaller expedition or diving cruise ships (liveaboards). Since there are no regular ferry connections, cruise lines often arrange private transfers from the nearest regional airport to the respective embarkation point. For the Sabalana Islands, this may involve a crossing by private motorboat or a special safari boat from a port near Makassar or on Sumbawa.
