Airplane
Arrival from the DACH region typically takes place by plane with layovers. Your destination airport is Betoambari Airport (BUW) near Baubau, located about 5 kilometers southeast of the city center. International flights from Europe first take you to Jakarta (CGK) or Bali (DPS), from where you take connecting flights to Makassar (UPG) in South Sulawesi. From Makassar, you can reach Baubau in just over an hour's flight time.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Betoambari Airport (BUW), you can reach your cruise terminal in Baubau quickly and comfortably. The journey by taxi or motorcycle taxi (Ojek) takes only about 5 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Many cruise lines also offer organized transfers, which enable a relaxed onward journey to the ship.

Due to the long journey from the DACH region and the time difference, an overnight stay in Baubau before embarkation is recommended.
