Airplane
For guests from the DACH region, traveling to Palopo by plane is the most recommended option. There are no direct international flights to the nearest Palopo Lagaligo Airport (LLO). The usual route is via Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) in Makassar, a major Indonesian hub served by international destinations. From Makassar, there is usually a one-hour domestic flight to Lagaligo Airport (LLO), which is located about 14.7 kilometers from the city center and 16.8 kilometers from the port. Flights between Makassar and Palopo are offered by Wings Air, for example, and are seasonal.
Transfer to the Port
From Palopo Lagaligo Airport (LLO), you can easily reach the port by taxi or via ride-sharing services such as Grab or Gojek. The journey from the airport to the port usually does not take long. The port itself is located on Yos Sudarso Street Palopo.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the long journey from Europe and the need for a domestic flight within Indonesia, an overnight stay before embarkation is highly recommended to start your cruise in a relaxed manner.
