Totos and Rickshaws
Electric totos are available at all times at central hubs such as Serampore railway station or the bustling Battala marketplace. These agile vehicles will take you back directly to the jetty near the Danish old town comfortably and quickly, allowing for a relaxed ride through the lively alleys.
Ferries
If your excursion has taken you to the opposite side of the river to Barrackpore, simply use the regularly operating ferries. These depart from Barrackpore Ghat and bring you safely back to the central Serampore Ghat, which is located in direct proximity to the main moorings of the river cruise ships.
