Airplane
Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport (PLZ) is located only about five kilometers from the cruise terminal and is often referred to as the ten-minute airport due to the short distances. Travelers from the DACH region usually fly in via the major hubs of Johannesburg (JNB) or Cape Town (CPT), from where there are several convenient daily connecting flights with a flight time of approximately 75 to 90 minutes.
Transfer & Shuttle
From the airport, you can reach the port directly in about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi or via common ridesharing services. In addition, many cruise lines and private shuttle companies offer reliable transfers to the Passenger Terminal, which guarantees an uncomplicated arrival at the ship and at the same time enables a safe drive through the port area.

For a relaxed start to your cruise, we recommend arriving at least one day before embarkation to compensate for the long flight time from Europe and to enjoy the coastal atmosphere in Summerstrand or Humewood. These districts are in the immediate vicinity of the port and also offer ideal starting points for short safaris in the Addo Elephant National Park, which is about 40 kilometers away.
