Airplane
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) is located approximately 48 kilometers southeast of Port Louis and is served by direct flights from Frankfurt by Condor and Lufthansa, as well as from Zurich by Edelweiss Air. Travelers from Austria also use convenient connections via the hubs of Dubai or Paris to arrive on the island after a flight time of around eleven hours.
Transfer & Shuttle
The direct route from the airport to the cruise terminal is via the M1 motorway, with a travel time of approximately 50 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. In addition to shuttle buses organized by the cruise lines, licensed taxis and private transfer services are available at the airport to reliably transport passengers and their luggage to the port area.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the long flight distance and the time difference, arriving at least one day before embarkation is recommended to start your holiday relaxed. Many hotels near the Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis or on the beaches of the northwest coast allow the terminal to be reached quickly within 15 to 30 minutes by car.
