MS Thurgau Saxonia was modernised in winter 2019 and was equipped with french balconies on the upper deck. With its 4-star facilities the ship offers the best conditions for a relaxing river cruise. The tasteful decor of the salon, the restaurant, the common areas and the staterooms provides a feel-good atmosphere. From the sundeck, which is equipped with comfortable deck chairs and garden furniture, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the river landscape of the Oder. The ship is 82 m long and hosts its only 88 guests on three decks.

The tastefully and comfortably furnished outside staterooms are equipped with shower/WC, a hairdryer, an individually controlled air conditioning, a TV with onboard radio, a minibar, a safe, and a telephone. The voltage is 230 V AC. The staterooms on the upper deck have French balconies. The smaller windows on the main deck cannot be opened. All staterooms have a size of approx. 11-12 sqm.

Various theme evenings and music programs offer plenty of variety. The clothing on board is casual, for dinner more formal clothing is desired. All guests can dine in the spaciously Panorama restaurant at the same time, for which you can make a table reservation on the day of boarding. Nicko cruises has a highly professional and friendly service team on each of the cruises and offers menus with an international cuisine as well as traditional dishes from the countries along the route.

For your leisure time, the restaurant offers theme nights and music programs. The spacious wellness area with sauna, relaxation area, whirlpool and fitness equipment invites you to relax or to exercise. On the sundeck you can admire the passing scenery. Interesting shore excursions complete the program aboard the MS Thurgau Saxonia.

The cruise operator offers optional bookable shore excursions, which are adapted to the respective length of stay in the port. Suitable for your cruise you can book a trip package that combines the highlights of each route into a single package. On board, however, you can also book only certain elements of the excursion packages, as long as there are seats available, and make your cruise even more individual. On many excursions, an audio system is available so that you can follow the explanations of your tour guide quite relaxed, without missing interesting highlights. In addition to classic excursion programs, nicko cruises also offers some active bike trips.
