The tour operator and cruise provider Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973 and is specialized in high-quality river and ocean cruises. The portfolio includes not only classic river trips, e.g. on the Danube, the Rhine and the Volga, but also exotic routes such as cruises in South America, the Orient or the South Seas. Due to the small ship sizes with capacities of 150 to 1200 passengers, there is a family atmosphere on board. During the cruise you can enjoy high-quality dishes, from the maritime fish buffet to grilled specialties to desserts and cakes. Phoenix Reisen also offers special arrangements for wedding couples, birthday children or other anniversaries and celebrations.

MS Amadeus Diamond is part of the latest generation of river boats. The ambience on board is stylish and elegant, with light-flooded premises and bright colors. With a length of 110 m, it can accommodate up to 148 passengers. You can organise your time on board very flexibly and individually. Panorama lounge, reading corner, sundeck or massage room invite you to spend relaxing hours, while you can spend more active moments with shuffle board or in the fitness room.

The comfortably and luxuriously furnished outside staterooms are approx. 15 sqm, the single staterooms approx. 10 sqm and the suites approx. 22 sqm in size. The staterooms on the Haydn deck have small windows that cannot be opened. All other staterooms have a French balcony. The beds can be made up either individually or as a double bed. All staterooms have shower/WC, individually regulated air conditioning, radio, TV, safe, minibar (in the suites) and daily newspaper.

A sporty, elegant atmosphere awaits you on board. The beautiful premises are flooded with light, stylish but not overloaded and offer a pleasant atmosphere. The dress code on board is casual, only a more elegant wardrobe is expected for the classic captain's dinner. However, no evening wear is necessary here. Quiet moments alternate with interesting program offers while the picturesque river landscape of France passes by. 

Look forward to a big breakfast buffet as well as enjoyable lunches and dinners in the form of multi-course menus. The Panorama-Restaurant is already included in the price and offers European dishes. Thanks to the open table time, it is up to you whether you want to eat earlier or later. Several lounges (not included) round off the culinary offer. Enjoy the wonderful view of the passing landscape in the Panorama-Lounge or meet up with fellow travelers in the Amadeus-Club to end the evening with a drink.

Entertainment is well provided in all areas on board the Amadeus Diamond. During the trip you can look forward to regular dance evenings with live music. A selection of books, board and card games is available to you. Shuffle board and chess invite to activity on deck. Those who prefer it more relaxed are in good hands in the massage room or at the hairdressing salon.

Through a variety of shore excursions, you have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people along the river. The excursion program is adapted to the berthing times and is accompanied by qualified tour guides. The excursions are usually in German language. The shore excursions can be booked directly on board or partly online in advance.
