The tour operator and cruise provider Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973 and is specialized in high-quality river and ocean cruises. The portfolio includes not only classic river trips, e.g. on the Danube, the Rhine and the Volga, but also exotic routes such as cruises in South America, the Orient or the South Seas. Due to the small ship sizes with capacities of 150 to 1200 passengers, there is a family atmosphere on board. During the cruise you can enjoy high-quality dishes, from the maritime fish buffet to grilled specialties to desserts and cakes. Phoenix Reisen also offers special arrangements for wedding couples, birthday children or other anniversaries and celebrations.

All staterooms on board are comfortable and luxuriously furnished outisde staterooms with a size of approximately 16 sqm. The suites, equipped with a walk-in balcony, have approx. 24 sqm. The stateooms on the Mozart deck and Strauss deck have lowerable panoramic windows, while the staterooms on the Haydn deck have smaller windows that cannot be opened for safety reasons. All staterooms are equipped with shower/WC, a hairdryer, an individually controlled air conditioning, a TV, a radio, a minibar (in the suites), a safe, as well as a telephone. The beds can be set up as double or single beds.

Like on all Phoenix ships, the atmosphere aboard the A-Silver is cosy and casual, with a touch of elegance and luxury. The dress code on board is casual. At the traditional captain's dinner a more elegant wardrobe is expected, but evening wear is not needed. Regional events, live music and light entertainment will make your trip a great holiday at the river. 

In the Panorama Restaurant, which is already included in the price, the A-Silver's regular kitchen crew provides a rich breakfast buffet as well as multi-course lunches and dinners. There is a open meal time on board, giving you more flexibility in planning your day and allowing you to decide whether you want to eat earlier or later. The culinary offering is complemented by bars, a lounge and a café. For example, enjoy your favorite drink on the sun deck at the Lido Bar (not included) or end your day in the Panorama-Lounge (not included).

On board a selection of books, board and card games is available. Regular on-board events, music programs or lectures are offered, which may vary depending on the route. From the spacious sundeck with loungers and seatings you have a beautiful view of the passing river landscape. In the massage room as well as at the hairdressing salon and in the fitness room, you can persue yourself to your inner and outer well-being.

Through a variety of shore excursions, you have the opportunity to get to know the country and it’s people along the route. The excursion program is adapted to the length of stay of the ship and is accompanied by qualified tour guides. The excursions are usually in German language. The shore excursions can be booked directly on board or partly in advance online at the shipping company.
