A-ROSA Brava Sustainability

A-ROSA has had a sustainability department since 2022, which works closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). All ships in the fleet have a shore power connection and are powered by marine gas oil without heavy fuel oil during the voyage. Waste is continuously reduced, for example through the use of paper straws and careful separation of waste. In addition, many care and cleaning products on board are made with certified ingredients. To save water, towels and bed linen are only cleaned as required during the voyage.

A-ROSA Brava staterooms

All staterooms on the A-ROSA Brava are outside staterooms. The staterooms on deck 1 (category S and A) have small windows and are around 14.5 sqm. The cabins on decks 2 and 3 (categories C and D, 14.5 sqm) have a french balcony. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom with hairdryer and have a chair, a small table and a TV. In addition, all staterooms have a safe, air conditioning and a telephone.

Atmosphere on board of A-ROSA Brava

On the ships of A-ROSA you will feel like you are in a very good hotel: the furnishing is modern and elegant. Bright colors, large panoramic windows and a spacious salon create a lot of space so that you can relax, enjoy and experience a lot on your vacation. The guests are often a little younger than on river cruises from other providers. During the holidays, families also like to travel with A-ROSA every now and then. You dress sportily and elegantly; as is convenient for you. Formal clothing is not required. Guests pay their bill in Euro.

A-ROSA Brava restaurants

The "market restaurant" offers open table times and large buffets. This means that you can eat flexibly within the opening times, when you want and with whom you want. There are no reserved tables. The buffet offers varied dishes with lots of fresh, regional products. At some stations, meals are also freshly prepared "live" (so-called "show cooking"). There is also the "Weinwirtschaft" on board. Here you can order good wines and delicious, regional delicacies (for a surcharge). Mineral water is included with meals. The café-restaurant "P’tit Bar" invites you to enjoy delicious coffee specialties. Coffee and tea are free in the afternoons; Coffee specialties can be purchased at an additional cost. The cosy panorama lounge on deck 3 offers a beautiful view: Here you can order from an extensive bar menu (not included).

Entertainment, sports & relaxation

There is a sanarium on board. Through the large windows you can see the landscape go by while you are in the sauna. There is also some modern fitness equipment. A cosy relaxation area invites you to relax between the sauna sessions. There are also two very nice rooms for massage/wellness treatments with a view to the outside (treatments for a fee). There is also a whirlpool on the spacious sundeck with seating and parasols. Wellness lovers' hearts beat faster here.

A-ROSA Brava shore excursions

A-ROSA has drawn up an extensive land program. Basically, A-ROSA offers you four categories of excursions: adventure tours, discovery tours, bike tours and pleasure tours. You can book all excursions on board. There are mostly sightseeing trips, trips to castles, wineries and other sights in the area. Boat trips or walks are also on the program. The tours are operated by local agencies. A-ROSA has its own bicycles and offers guided bicycle tours at various stations. You cannot bring your own bicycles due to lack of space onboard.
