      • The cruise itself lasted 10 days, but I felt like I spent them in a huge train station: at every port, people were leaving and new ones were checking in, and the dining room was always piled high with suitcases in the morning. Announcements about drills were constantly broadcast over the radio, with the text, "If you didn't complete the drill yesterday..." And how can you even set sail without a safety briefing? There were no life jackets either. The food was terrible. The entertainment was the same every day, and why bother? Every two or three days, there's a new crowd. As far as I know, MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) is a Swiss-Italian, Europe-based company. Europe seems to have sanctions against Russia, but our mini-captain, Roberto Leotto, was so entertaining to the Russian crowd that it's strange. They missed one port—it's a shame. We were always two or three hours late to other ports. Doesn't MSC have someone with a GPS and a calculator?

      • Let's start with preparing for the cruise. The company's website is terrible, and you can't change the language. I booked the cruise through seascanner.com, and ended up receiving several emails from MSC every day in German. I also had to register in German, which I don't speak. I contacted MSC in Portugal to change the language to Portuguese or English, but the answer was "screw you"—it's bad for MSC's reputation.
