Questions about the Queen Mary 2
- How did you like your cabin number 8092?
- Your comment on cabin 8092:
- We booked a balcony cabin with an obstructed view, thinking it was PARTIALLY obstructed, like at the Opera. Instead, we were met with a totally obstructed view, which was pretty deceiving, considering the fact that we were on our honeymoon: emotions spoiled. Almost every night we felt a terrible smell from the air conditioner, and we had to breathe it.

- What is your overall impression of the ship Queen Mary 2?
- Would you like to note some more short remarks about the ship Queen Mary 2?
- Age of Guests.
A major bad surprise for us was to find out that the vast majority of guests, around 90% (believe me, I'm not exaggerating), were elderly travelers, many using wheelchairs or mobility aids (it could not be just a random situation, Cunard knew and should have informed us, considering our honeymoon).
Questions about the tour operator Cunard Line
- How well was the embarkation/disembarkation organized?
- How satisfied were you with the guest service on the ship?
- How would you rate the extra expenses on board (5 = very affordable, 1 = very high)
- How would you rate the cruise line's shore excursions in terms of quality and value for money?
- Would you travel again with Cunard Line?
- no
- Comments about Cunard Line
- Cunard should have been more transparent about the average age of their passengers, considering that we told them before the cruise that this was our honeymoon! No communication in English, only in German, for all Europe-based guests. We speak 6 different languages but not German!

Ship overall:
- Great ship slightly dated and worn
- We thoroughly enjoyed our dining at the Britannia every night. We tried the buffet at King's Court one night but we didn't really like what was on offer. Perhaps it's a hit and miss with the buffet, but the Britannia definitely never disappoints....
- Having travelled on the Queen Elizabeth, and taking into account that the Queen Mary 2 is a liner and not a cruise ship, I found the ship more difficult to navigate through.
- Would have liked more variety of entertainment in bars.
Cruise in one sentence:
- Amazing experience from start to end.
- Relaxing and enjoyable,on outward trip to New York.
- Food surprisingly bland, Service excellent.
- Perfect!
- Excellent looking forward to my next Cunard Cruise perhaps on a different Cunard ship.
- It was worth the experience of a short trip but I wouldn't like to have done a longer cruise. Ship is old and outdated.
- Didn't live up to previous memories
