- The workers were lovely. But felt “nickel and dimed” for water was super annoying. The slides weren’t open everyday. Parts of the deck weren’t available to my family.

- The price of drinks is crazy. We felt nickel and dimed why bother us with paying for sodas or pizzas? Just increase the base price overall. It was annoying to pay for a cruise and then be charged for simple things like bottled water. Our 2 rooms necessary for a family our size we’re far apart even though we booked just seconds apart and the room categories were the same. We also weren’t notified of our easily embarkation time until a few weeks prior to the cruise so that was a huge inconvenience. We should have been notified of that at the time of booking.
More kid friendly performances, not at bars, would have been appreciated.
The acrobatic shows were fantastic.

- Overall, I really appreciate the experience on the Costa Smeralda ship. I really liked everything. I definitely want to come back again.
- This was a fabulous cruise and I enjoyed every minute of it.
- It exceeded our expectations, the ship is beautiful and the facilities for children are excellent with brilliant swimming pools and a great kids club. The drinks and food onboard was excellent.

- What I admire most is the size and diversity that this ship can offer.
- Food in the restaurant and entertainment program and of course evening shows.

- Smeralda is a very big ship but with poor weather and few people going on deck, the inside facilities, esp the buffet, was overcrowded, awkward and very messy. Otherwise it is a well designed ship and on good weather the crowds would be more spaced out with less overcrowding....

Ship overall:
- Beautiful new ship, being really well maintained.
- Equipment not sized for the size of the boat (only two table football tables and two ping pong tables) but many bars
- Cruising on Costa Smeralda previously was more enjoyable as it wasn't over crowded as it was on this occasion. Though the staff were polite and endeavored to provide top class service the same cannot be said for many of the guests who appeared to have left their manners on shore......
- The staff was unfriendly. They didn't smile or talk before you asked them something! A complete tragedy! I would never go back on vacation with this company again!
- Everyone is rude even when I called for help because we didn't stop in La Goulette
- Good staff,
- Not enough spaces for all guests in restaurants and shows. Little personal touch from the crew.

- Large modern ship. Great variety of entertainment venues
- The food is Italian and not as varied as some cruise liners but really good and sometimes gourmet quality
