- The workers were lovely. But felt “nickel and dimed” for water was super annoying. The slides weren’t open everyday. Parts of the deck weren’t available to my family.

- The price of drinks is crazy. We felt nickel and dimed why bother us with paying for sodas or pizzas? Just increase the base price overall. It was annoying to pay for a cruise and then be charged for simple things like bottled water. Our 2 rooms necessary for a family our size we’re far apart even though we booked just seconds apart and the room categories were the same. We also weren’t notified of our easily embarkation time until a few weeks prior to the cruise so that was a huge inconvenience. We should have been notified of that at the time of booking.
More kid friendly performances, not at bars, would have been appreciated.
The acrobatic shows were fantastic.

Ship overall:
- Good staff,
- Not enough spaces for all guests in restaurants and shows. Little personal touch from the crew.
- nice ship, modern and clean.
- Large modern ship. Great variety of entertainment venues
- The food is Italian and not as varied as some cruise liners but really good and sometimes gourmet quality
- Really great cabin service, Sheila was so kind.
- During the long cruise we like to play cards, on Smeralda there were too few places where to play. E.g. In Pizzeria people were told to go away in spite of that the restaurant was always in lunch time almost empty. Nobody understood why.
- Not enough seats at the table. Performance halls with few seats and many of them with reduced visibility.
- We enjoyed the cuisine, the wine and the service, friendly staff, however we would appreciated more variety of the food and clearly the authenticity of the cuisine given the fact that we were traveling through Italy, Spain and France....
