From the city center around Rue Colbert, you can easily walk back to the port gate in about 10 to 15 minutes. The path leads steadily downhill towards the bay and is easy to find due to the prominent location of the port at the foot of the city. It is also well protected by the local presence of security forces at the port entrance.
