If you have taken an excursion to the neighboring island of Pico, you will arrive by ferry directly at the Terminal Marítimo, where most cruise ships also dock or station their tender boats. In addition, the local minibus Laranjinha regularly connects the outskirts with the harbor area and offers a comfortable and inexpensive option for a punctual return.
