The M9 motorway connects the port directly with Dublin, while the N25 national road allows for a quick journey from Cork. Returning to the ship

Shuttle Buses

Most cruise lines offer a shuttle service for ships docked in Belview or Dunmore East, departing from the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre or near the Clock Tower. These buses take you back to the pier at regular intervals and by the direct route.

Taxi

Taxi stands can be found directly at the Quays as well as at the central Parade Quay near the Granville Hotel and on Gladstone Street. A trip to the port can be easily organized on-site and, thanks to the local drivers, offers a punctual return to the ship.

On Foot

If your ship is docked directly at the City Quays in the city center, simply stroll back to the gangway along the wide riverside promenade. The path is barrier-free and, thanks to the ship's striking silhouette and the location at Merchants Quay, easy to find at any time.
