Four Mile Beach

The picturesque Four Mile Beach is easily reachable from the marina in about a ten-minute walk and impresses with its soft, golden sand and shade-giving coconut palms directly on the shore. This extensive stretch of beach is perfect for a relaxing stay by the Coral Sea and also offers an excellent selection of high-quality restaurants and charming cafes in the immediate vicinity thanks to the adjacent Macrossan Street. Ideally, start your visit in the early morning to take advantage of the pleasant temperatures and the soft light for photos, and return relaxed to the port at least ninety minutes before the last tender departure.

Returning to the ship

The way back to the pier in Port Douglas is very clear and relaxed thanks to the compact size of the town. Since ships here mostly lie at anchor, your path leads comfortably back to the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina or the public pier at Wharf Street.

Local Shuttle Buses

The Port Douglas shuttle buses run frequently between Four Mile Beach and the town center, stopping directly at the marina. You can easily use this service at the marked stops along Macrossan Street to reach your tender boat safely and on time.

Taxi

Central taxi ranks are located directly on the busy Macrossan Street, as well as at the entrance to the marina and in front of the larger hotels. In addition, taxis can be called quickly and easily at any time through local providers, allowing you a flexible return to the harbor.

On Foot

From the town center, you can walk directly to the harbor area in just a few minutes via flat and well-maintained paths. Navigation is easy thanks to clear signage and leads you directly and safely back to the piers at Wharf Street.
