Castro is the cultural heart of the mystical island of Chiloé and welcomes travelers with a fascinating mix of tradition and maritime charm. Absolute highlights include the bright yellow UNESCO World Heritage Church of San Francisco as well as the famous Palafitos de Gamboa, those iconic stilt houses that sit photogenically directly over the water. Pre-Cruise Hotel
Due to the long journey from the DACH region and the need for a connecting flight to Chiloé, a stay at a pre-cruise hotel is highly recommended. Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation.
