Brest is located on the spectacular west coast of Brittany and stands out as a major port city due to its maritime history and its location in one of the world's most beautiful natural bays. The city welcomes visitors with a harmonious blend of modern architecture and historic landmarks, where the salty sea air and expansive views of the Atlantic convey an authentic Breton flair. Highlights include the impressive Océanopolis aquarium, the medieval fortress Château de Brest, and the innovative cable car to the Ateliers des Capucins.
