You will also find classic taxis in front of larger hotels such as the Zenith Hotel, which offer a particularly comfortable return journey thanks to their air conditioning and will drop you off directly in front of the check-in area.
Local Minibuses (Angkot)
The blue-marked minibuses run regularly on the city's main streets and offer an authentic and very reliable way to return. These vehicles frequently pass the central markets and bring you conveniently close to the port area, so you only need to plan for a short walk to the ship.
On Foot
From Baubau city center or the lively Pasar Sentral market, you can easily walk back to the port in about 10 to 15 minutes via the main street Jalan Yos Sudarso. The prominent cranes and the port tower serve as ideal landmarks, and the path is safely designed thanks to the friendly local population and the busy surroundings.
