The modern terminal is located directly by the city center, allowing you to easily reach all important facilities and your cruise ship on foot after arrival.

Airplane & Ferry

Guests from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland primarily use Tenerife South Airport (TFS), as it is served regularly and directly from all major airports in the DACH region. From the airport, you can reach the port of Los Cristianos in about 15 to 20 minutes by car, from where the fast ferries of the Fred. Olsen Express or Naviera Armas shipping companies dock directly in the port of San Sebastián in about a 50-minute crossing.

Car & Parking

The port is excellently connected to the rest of the island via the main roads GM-1 and GM-2 and offers direct access for individual travelers with a rental car. Playa de la Cueva

Playa de la Cueva is located just a few minutes' walk from the cruise pier and, thanks to its fine, dark volcanic sand and protected bay, offers a first-class swimming experience in direct proximity to the harbor. From here, you can also enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Teide across the way and benefit from a well-maintained infrastructure with showers and nearby venues in the marina. This location is perfectly suited for a relaxing break and impresses with its clean, crystal-clear water. Ideally, plan your visit for the morning to take advantage of the best lighting for photos, and return comfortably to the ship at least one hour before departure.

Returning to the ship

Thanks to the immediate proximity of the city center to the port of San Sebastian de La Gomera, your return journey to the ship is particularly short and relaxed. The paths are clear and allow you to return punctually without any time pressure.

On Foot

From the lively main square Plaza de las Américas and the popular shopping street Calle Real, you can walk to the port entrance in about five to ten minutes via the flat coastal promenade. The route is excellently signposted and leads you safely along the picturesque coastline back to the pier.

Taxi

Central taxi ranks can be found directly at the Plaza de la Constitución as well as at the city's bus station. The drivers are well acquainted with the layover times of the cruise ships and will bring you comfortably to the terminal building within a few minutes.

The regional public buses of GuaguaGomera return regularly to the central Estación de Guaguas, which is located just a short walk from the port area.
