At the popular beaches of Boa Viagem as well as in front of the major shopping centers like Shopping Paço Alfândega, you will find manned taxi ranks for a direct return trip. In addition, vehicles are available at any time at the central square Marco Zero in the Recife Antigo district, which will bring you safely to the Terminal Marítimo de Passageiros within a few minutes.
Ferries and Water Taxis
From the Francisco Brennand Sculpture Park on the opposite side of the reef, small boats and ferries regularly cross over to Marco Zero. Thanks to this short connection, you can get directly from the city's landmark back to the port area and comfortably walk from the landing stage to the check-in.
On Foot
If you are in the historic center of Recife Antigo, the way back to the pier is very easy thanks to the flat paths and good signage. The route from Praça Rio Branco to the terminal is reinforcedly patrolled by the tourist police on docking days, thus ensuring a safe walk directly to the ship.
