SeaExpress Ferries

The iconic pink and blue public buses stop in the immediate vicinity of the pier and take visitors easily to the world-famous beaches of the south coast. Thanks to the well-developed transport network and regular departures, this option is a particularly authentic way to get around and provides direct access to Horseshoe Bay.
Taxi and Shuttle Service
Official taxis are available at marked stands directly at the exit of the terminal for individual trips across the island. Additionally, the entire Dockyard area with its shopping centers and museums can be easily explored within 5 to 10 minutes on foot or via the free shuttle train.

This stretch of coastline is perfect for a first-class beach day, as it features excellent infrastructure with beach chair rentals, sanitary facilities, and a selection of local refreshments such as the famous Rum Swizzle. Ideally, visit this paradise early in the morning to enjoy the special atmosphere and picturesque rock formations in peace before the larger crowds arrive. Plan your return trip to the ship about two hours before departure to experience the drive along the beautiful coastal road in a relaxed manner and be back on board on time.

Ferries (SeaExpress)
The fastest connection to the ship is provided by the Blue Route ferries from the Hamilton Ferry Terminal and the Orange Route from St. George’s. These vessels dock directly at the Dockyard and offer a comfortable journey with wonderful coastal views thanks to their high frequency.
Local Buses and Taxis
The pink buses on lines 7 and 8 run regularly from Hamilton and the southern beaches back to the central bus stop in the Dockyard. Additionally, you will always find taxis on Front Street in Hamilton and at the taxi stands of major hotels, which will take you directly and safely to the pier.
On Foot within the Dockyard
Within the historic fortress grounds, you can reach your ship from the Clocktower Mall or Snorkel Park Beach in just a few minutes on foot. The entire area is extensively signposted and, thanks to the pedestrian zones and the high presence of service staff, is very safe and well-organized.
