Ideally, plan your visit for the late morning to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the grounds at leisure, and return to the ship relaxed about sixty minutes before departure.
The return journey to the pier at the Schwedter Bollwerk is extremely pleasant and safe thanks to its central location. Distances within the city are short and lead you directly back to the idyllic Oder river promenade.
On Foot
From the city center or the Uckermärkische Bühnen, you can walk to the Bollwerk in just a few minutes via well-paved paths. The river promenade is easy to find thanks to clear signage and offers a relaxed way to ensure a punctual boarding process.
Taxi
Taxis are available at Schwedt station and at the Rathausplatz, and can also be easily reserved in advance through local providers or hotel receptions. The trip to the Bollwerk is short and takes you comfortably and directly to your ship's gangway.
Bus
City buses stop at the central bus station (ZOB), from where you can reach the port in a short time. The path leads through the city's well-maintained green spaces and allows for a stress-free return to the ship as well as good orientation due to the proximity to the water.
