Airplane

For guests from the DACH region, arrival by plane is conveniently possible via two airports. The closest is Crotone Sant'Anna Airport (CRV), about 15 to 20 kilometers from the port, with a travel time of around 15 minutes. This airport mainly serves domestic flights, but also offers some direct connections from German cities such as Düsseldorf (Weeze Niederrhein) or Cologne/Bonn. Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF) serves as the region's most important international hub, around 106 kilometers away, with a travel time of about 1.5 hours. From there, good bus connections to Crotone exist, taking approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes. For a relaxed embarkation, especially with international long-haul flights, we recommend arriving at least one day before the cruise.

Car

Crotone is well connected to Calabria's regional road network. When arriving, simply follow the signs towards Crotone. Please note that there are no parking facilities available directly at the cruise terminal. However, you will find public parking lots for short- and long-term parkers in the immediate vicinity and in the city area, from which you can easily reach the terminal by taxi or a short walk.

Train

Crotone has its own train station, Stazione di Crotone, which is located within the city limits. The station is connected to the Ionian railway line and offers regional and InterCity connections, for example from Taranto or Reggio Calabria. From the station, you can easily reach the cruise terminal, which is only about 250 meters away, by taxi or local bus.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually about one hour before the scheduled departure.

The same applies during the journey: for shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and the notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
