The main station itself is also barrier-free and has lifts to all platforms.

The nearest airport is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), which is approximately 56 kilometres from Eberswalde. The train offers a direct and fast transfer option: from BER Airport, trains run directly to Eberswalde Hauptbahnhof, with a journey time of about 1 hour and 5 minutes.
