Airplane

Bornholm Airport (RNN) is located only about five kilometers south of the cruise port and is served several times daily via the Copenhagen (CPH) hub. The flight time from Copenhagen is only 35 minutes, and thanks to the short distances on the island, you can reach your ship from the airport by taxi or bus in about ten minutes. For a relaxed arrival, we recommend a flight to Copenhagen and subsequent onward travel by plane or express bus directly to the port.

An environmentally friendly arrival is possible by train to Sassnitz station or via Copenhagen. From the Danish capital, the Bornholm bus (Kombardo Expressen) runs directly to the ferry terminal in Ystad, Sweden, from where the high-speed ferry reaches the Port of Rønne in just 80 minutes. This combined connection is well-coordinated and enables a stress-free arrival directly at the terminal in the heart of the island's capital.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that your travel documents usually include a fixed time slot for check-in, which is mandatory for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually about one hour before the scheduled departure.

The same applies during the voyage: for shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and notices on board, as docking and departure times can change at short notice.
