Water Taxis and Excursion Boats
Numerous water taxis and local boats are available at the waterfront promenade to transport guests comfortably to the offshore islands or through the St. Anthony Channel. This connection is ideal for admiring St. Nicholas Fortress and the coastal landscape directly from the water.

Banj Beach
The pebble beach close to the city is easily accessible on foot and, in addition to excellent water quality, offers a spectacular panoramic view of the fortresses and church towers of Šibenik, perfect for a relaxing break by the sea.
St. Michael's Fortress
The historic St. Michael's Fortress towers majestically over the Old Town and is easily accessible on foot from the port in about a twenty-minute walk through the picturesque, medieval alleys. This site, steeped in history, offers you one of the most spectacular panoramic views over the Croatian island world and the St. Anthony Channel, while the modern facility also features an inviting bar for cool drinks and first-class infrastructure. Thanks to the successful combination of UNESCO World Heritage and a relaxed atmosphere, the fortress is perfect for a cultural tour. It is best to visit the area in the morning to enjoy the expansive views before the midday sun, and plan your return to the harbor at least ninety minutes before departure so that you can still admire the impressive St. James Cathedral on the way.
The return journey to the Gat Vrulje berth is very comfortable and safe thanks to the central location of the port. You can easily reach your ship from the historic Old Town or from the surrounding excursion destinations in the region.
Taxi and car services
Taxis are available for the return journey at central hubs such as the main Poljana square and directly at the bus station (Autobusni kolodvor). You will also find reliable taxi ranks at the entrances of the larger hotels in the city area as well as at the port of Skradin after an excursion to Krka National Park, which will take you quickly and directly to the terminal.
Public bus transport
The central bus station of Šibenik is located in the immediate vicinity of the cruise terminal and is the arrival point for all regional bus lines and excursion buses. Thanks to this direct location, after arrival you can simply walk back to the pier in a few minutes via the marked path and enjoy the constant view of your ship.
On foot
The walk from the Cathedral of St. James along the picturesque Obala dr. Franje Tuđmana waterfront promenade takes only 10 to 15 minutes. Thanks to the flat terrain, this path is very easy to manage and leads you directly to the guarded port entrance without detours, while the striking silhouette of the cruise ships provides perfect orientation.
