On Foot

Taxi and Shared Taxis
Available taxis and the shared taxis common in Chile (colectivos) can be found at any time at the central Plaza Prat as well as in front of large shopping centers like Mall Zofri. The drivers will take you safely to the Terminal Molo and, thanks to the short distances, you can reach the port gate from the city center within a few minutes.
Shuttle Bus and Public Transport
Many cruise lines provide shuttle buses that commute regularly between the historic center at Plaza Prat and the berth. In addition, local buses stop directly on Avenida Arturo Prat near the port, so you can return to the ship comfortably and on time even from more distant beaches like Playa Cavancha.
On Foot
From the historic district around Calle Baquedano, the walk back to the port is easily manageable and takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The path via Avenida Arturo Prat is easy to find and, thanks to its proximity to tourist attractions such as the museum ship Corbeta Esmeralda, it is pleasantly lively and well-lit.
