On Foot
Since the historic old town Melilla la Vieja and the modern center are only about 10 to 15 minutes' walk from the cruise terminal, you can take a very relaxed stroll back along the Paseo Marítimo. The path is flat, safe, and easy to find at any time thanks to the striking architecture of the port building and the good signage.
Taxi
At central locations such as the Plaza de España or directly at the Parque Hernández, taxis are available at all times to take you to the port entrance in just a few minutes. Additionally, you will find a reliable point of contact in front of the Hotel Melilla Puerto, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the terminal, for a quick and comfortable journey straight back to the ship.
Public Bus
The blue buses of the local company COA run regularly between the different districts and stop at the Plaza de España, the central hub in the immediate vicinity of the port. Line 2 in particular offers an easy connection to the port area and enables you to arrive at the terminal on time for a relaxed end to your stay.
