From both airports, you can reach Le Pecq directly by taxi or rental car. Alternatively, from Charles de Gaulle Airport, you can take the RER (Line B, then change to Line A) to reach Le Pecq in about 1 hour 15 minutes. Many cruise lines, such as A-ROSA, also organize comfortable bus transfers from the Parisian airports directly to the ship. For those traveling from the DACH region, we recommend staying overnight in Paris the day before to start your vacation relaxed.

Train

Travelers from the DACH region can reach Paris comfortably by TGV or ICE. From the main Parisian train stations, such as Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord, you can take RER Line A to the "Le Vésinet - Le Pecq" station. This is about a 20-minute walk from the usual ship berths. Local buses (e.g., lines 21, 259) connect the RER station with the center of Le Pecq and the Seine. Some cruise lines also offer organized transfers from the Parisian train stations to the ships in Le Pecq when booked through them.

Car & Parking

Le Pecq is well connected to the French motorway network via regional highways such as the D186 and D190 and is therefore easily accessible by your own vehicle from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In the center of Le Pecq, you will find various public parking options. Schloss and Park of Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The magnificent Schloss of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, with its extensive park grounds, is located just a few minutes' drive or a short, charming walk uphill from the port in Le Pecq, offering travelers a perfect combination of royal history and a spectacular panorama. Especially the "Grande Terrasse," designed by André Le Nôtre, is an absolute highlight, as it provides an incomparable view across the Seine Valley to the skyline of Paris and invites you to enjoy a relaxed stroll. Thanks to the prime location directly in the adjacent, elegant neighborhood, you will also find numerous charming cafés and small boutiques for an enjoyable break in a French atmosphere. Ideally, visit the area in the early afternoon to enjoy the special light on the terrace, and plan about twenty minutes for the way back to the ship so that you can let your stay come to a completely relaxed end.

Returning to the ship

The way back to the pier at Quai Maurice Berteaux is very relaxed and safe thanks to the short distances to the city center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

On foot

From the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a picturesque walk leads through the park grounds and downhill directly to the Seine. The path is well-marked and you can reach your ship quite comfortably on foot in about 15 to 20 minutes while enjoying the view of the river valley.

Taxi

Taxis are reliably available at the forecourt of the RER station Saint-Germain-en-Laye as well as in front of central squares such as the Place Charles de Gaulle. A ride to the port takes only a few minutes and, thanks to the direct connection, brings you back punctually and comfortably to the berth at Quai Maurice Berteaux.

Bus and public transport

The local bus lines of the Transdev group run regularly between the elevated city center and the stops near the bridge Pont de Le Pecq. Thanks to the short intervals, you can easily get back to the riverbank and find the short way back to the pier directly from the bus stop.
