Taxi
Central taxi ranks are located directly on South Beach Street opposite the harbor basin as well as near the bus station. In addition, you can conveniently have taxis called from larger hotels such as the Cabarfeidh Hotel or the Royal Hotel to reach the Deep Water Terminal or the tender pier punctually and directly.
Shuttle Bus and Public Transport
For cruise ships at the new Deep Water Terminal, organized shuttle buses are usually available, which commute regularly between the town center and the berth. Departure takes place centrally at the ferry terminal or near the Town Hall, allowing you to complete the journey back to the ship comfortably and without time pressure.
On Foot
Should your ship be docked at the inner harbor (Esplanade or Cromwell Street Quay), simply stroll back to the gangway via the flat waterfront promenade. The path through the main shopping streets is excellently signposted and, thanks to the short distances, also offers reliable planning for a punctual return.
