It is best to visit the Noorderhaven in the morning to enjoy the special tranquility by the water, and plan your return path to the ship about sixty minutes before departure.
The return journey to the Port of Harlingen is very relaxed due to the central location of the terminal and can be wonderfully integrated into a final stroll through the historic old town.
On Foot
As the cruise pier directly adjoins the city center as well as the harbor area, you can reach your ship comfortably in a few minutes on foot. Simply follow the signs towards Haven or Willemshaven and enjoy the view of the canals and the historic gabled houses of the city along the way.
Taxi
If you are coming from further afield or have heavy luggage, you will find taxis directly at Harlingen Haven station as well as in front of the Rederij Doeksen ferry terminal. Additionally, you can easily have a taxi called from any hotel in the city center to arrive at the ship safely and on time.

The regional train stops at the Harlingen Haven station, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the berth and provides a direct connection from the surrounding area and the parking lots.
