From the Grote Markt or the main shopping street Hoogstraat, you can reach the landing stages in a few minutes through the historic Waterpoort city gate. The path leads directly along the water and is easy to find thanks to the striking silhouette of the ships and the good signage.

If you are visiting the surrounding area, such as Slot Loevestein or Woudrichem, the ships of the provider Riveer will bring you directly back to the central hub of Buiten de Waterpoort. The ferries operate on a reliable schedule and dock conveniently within direct sight of the cruise ships.

Taxis can be found at Gorinchem station as well as at central locations like the Melkmarkt by Hotel Metropole. Additionally, you can easily have a vehicle called in the restaurants at the market square, which will take you safely to the ship on the banks of the Merwede within a few minutes.
