Free parking is available for arriving guests throughout the town, for example at the Neckar riverbank on Jahnstraße or near the Evangelical Church. This makes arriving in your own vehicle significantly easier.

Hirschhorn (Neckar) station is perfectly located directly on the riverbank and is an important stop on the Neckar Valley Railway. The Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn (Line S1) provides direct connections to Heidelberg and Mosbach every half hour. From the station, travelers can easily reach the river cruise ship docks on foot.

Airplane

The nearest major international airport is Frankfurt am Main (FRA), which is a good option for transfers. From there, a comfortable train connection to Hirschhorn (Neckar) exists with a travel time of about 1 hour 39 minutes, usually via Mannheim Hauptbahnhof. It is best to plan your ascent directly after arrival in the morning to explore the complex at your leisure and return relaxed to the riverside promenade in the early afternoon.

Returning to the ship

The way back to the ship pier on the banks of the Neckar is very relaxed and easy to navigate in the picturesque old town of Hirschhorn. Thanks to the central location of the pier, you can reach your ship from the most important sights within a very short time.

On Foot

The walk from Schloss Hirschhorn down to the shore leads you directly through the historic old town and is easy to find thanks to the clear signage. Enjoy the short descent via Schloßstraße, which will bring you comfortably back to the riverside promenade and your pier in about 15 minutes.

Taxi

For a particularly comfortable way back, you will find taxis at central points such as Hirschhorn station or directly at the Marktplatz. Additionally, you can easily have a vehicle called for you in the local restaurants or at the Schloss-Hotel to ensure you are back on board safely and on time.
