A particularly relaxed arrival is possible by train to the "Wolgast Hafen" stop, which is located directly on the water and in the immediate vicinity of the ship's berth. From here, it is only a few minutes' walk to the terminal. The Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) and DB Regio Nordost serve this station, offering connections via Züssow or Stralsund with links to the ICE and Regionalexpress network towards Berlin and Stralsund.
Airplane
The nearest airport is Heringsdorf (HDF) on Usedom, approximately 30 to 47 kilometers from Wolgast. From there, flight connections exist to Frankfurt/Main, among others. Further travel to Wolgast is possible by bus and train from Heringsdorf station and takes about two hours. For more distant departure airports, Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is an option, reachable by a train journey of about 4.5 hours. For longer journeys, an overnight stay in one of the charming hotels in Wolgast before the day of embarkation is recommended for a stress-free start to your cruise.

On Foot
You can comfortably reach the charming old town of Wolgast in about 5 to 10 minutes. The path leads along the picturesque waterfront promenade and offers a wonderful view of the striking Peenebrücke as well as the maritime activity in the city harbor.
Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB)
The Wolgast Hafen stop is located in the immediate vicinity of the pier and is ideal for excursions to the island of Usedom. The UBB trains run regularly and take you directly to the well-known seaside resorts such as Zinnowitz or Heringsdorf, as well as to the fine sandy beaches of the Baltic coast.
Taxi
Taxis are available directly at the nearby train station or at central points in the city. A trip to destinations in the immediate vicinity or further into the Western Pomeranian mainland is uncomplicated and can also be flexibly organized for individual tours.

This history-steeped site in the north of the island is easily accessible by regional train and, as one of Germany's most significant technical monuments, offers an impressive journey through time into the history of aviation and space travel amidst an untouched natural backdrop.
Ostseestrand Trassenheide
The extensive Ostseestrand von Trassenheide is reachable in only about fifteen minutes directly from the "Wolgast Hafen" station thanks to the Usedomer Bäderbahn and offers a first-class backdrop for a relaxing day by the sea. The fine, white sand and the gentle surf are perfectly suited for relaxed hours in a beach chair, and you will also find a selection of inviting cafes for small refreshments along the promenade. It is best to start your excursion directly in the morning to enjoy the fresh sea air to the fullest, and plan your return journey by train so that you arrive back at the ship relaxed no later than ninety minutes before departure.
The journey back to the Port of Wolgast is pleasant and time-saving thanks to the central location of the docking points on the Schlossinsel or at the quay of the Peenebrücke.
On Foot
From the historic Marktplatz or St.-Petri-Kirche, you can take a leisurely stroll in just a few minutes via Schlossstraße directly to the water. The paths are well-paved, and the prominent Peenebrücke serves as a widely visible landmark for your safe return to the ship.
Train and Public Transport
The Usedomer Bäderbahn stops directly at the Wolgast Hafen station and connects the seaside resorts of the island of Usedom as well as the main railway station conveniently with your berth. Thanks to the frequent service, you can reach the gangway within a very short time and get directly back on board.

Central taxi ranks are located at Rathausplatz and at Wolgast station; additionally, you can arrange a pickup directly from the sights at any time via local providers.
