From there, you can easily reach Nordfjordeid by rental car or public bus in around three to four hours; additionally, the regional Sandane Airport (SDN), just 15 kilometers away, offers fast daily connections via Oslo.
Car
The port is directly connected to the Norwegian trunk road network via the well-developed E39 European route and National Road 15, and can be reached from the direction of Bergen in about five hours and from Oslo in around nine hours. Public parking spaces are available in the town center and near the harbor, and the municipality offers excellent infrastructure for travelers using the port as a starting point for individual tours.

Organized excursion buses drop you off directly at the port terminal after tours to the Briksdal Glacier or the Geirangerfjord, and regional buses from the company Kringom also stop at the central bus station Nordfjordeid rutebilstasjon.
