Returning to the ship

Antalya is a major port on the Turkish Mediterranean coast and is excellently accessible for cruise guests from the DACH region thanks to the nearby airport. The port features a modern cruise terminal that enables a smooth embarkation.

Airplane

Antalya International Airport (AYT) is the nearest airport and is located only about 15 kilometers from the cruise port. It is served by direct flights from numerous cities in the German-speaking region, including Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, and Vienna. The short distance allows for a quick onward journey to the terminal.

Transfer & Shuttle

You can reach the port comfortably and quickly from Antalya Airport (AYT). Taxis are available directly in front of the terminal and take about 20 to 30 minutes to reach the cruise port, depending on the traffic situation. In addition, many cruise lines offer organized bus transfers as part of Fly & Cruise packages. Alternatively, private shuttle services can be booked in advance to ensure a comfortable direct trip to the ship.

Pre-Cruise Hotel

Given the longer flight times from the DACH region, arriving at least one day before embarkation is recommended for a relaxed start. Antalya offers a wide selection of hotels in various categories, particularly in the city center or along the coast, which provide an ideal base for the night before your cruise begins. From many hotels, the port is then easily accessible by taxi or shuttle on the day of embarkation.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for the journey to the port accordingly and consider that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The same applies during the trip: for shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and the notices on board, as docking and departure times can change at short notice.
