Embarkation requirement for all voyages including summer 2023:

• Please note that all guests need to have a proof of an insurance covering COVID-19 risks (e.g. cancellation of the cruise, repatriation costs, quarantine, medical support, costs for hospital stays). This policy is also valid for fully-vaccinated and from COVID-19 recovered persons.
  
  
• Proof upon embarkation: The proof (e.g. certificate) has to be presented upon check-in in English, Italian, German, French or Spanish and has contain the following details: insurance company, covered amount, insured persons, details of the covered COVID-19 risks. Passengers without these documents can be refused embarkation.
  
  
• For example, you can book the MSC COVID-19 additional insurance by MSC Cruises (CCP01) directly here on Seascanner (box: Special Services). Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity cards with a validity of 6 months after the trip. All children aged 16 years and younger must present a child passport with a photograph and a validity of 6 months after the trip.
