Important information for your voyage (update: 10th May 2023):

• COVID-19 vaccination or testing prior departure: Currently, there is no obligation to provide proof of a vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or testing. A COVID-19 insurance is no longer mandatory though it is still recommended. In addition, please also urgently check the individual country-specific requirements, which may differ from the cruise lines' guideline, before starting your trip.
  
  
• Shore leave: Individual shore excursions are currently possible based on the local conditions (that may change at short notice).
  
  
• Mouth and nose protection: The wearing of a mouth-nose protection is strongly recommended. Should the applicable regulations of the local health authorities or the ports called upon require mouth and nose protection, the recommendation can also be converted into a mandatory requirement. On land, local regulations always apply. Subject to necessary changes on board and in the destinations.
  
  
• Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.

Stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, MSC Cruises reserves the right to change cabin numbers after the booking.

Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
