- COVID-19 vaccination needed:
At the moment Amadeus river cruises needs either guests with full vaccination or guests with recovery status:- Full vaccination needed: Should the basic vaccination (with 2 vaccines allowed from the European Medicine Agency (EMA) against COVID-19 be more than 9 month ago, a booster vaccination is necessary. Do you already have the booster vaccination you fullfill all necessaties.
oder - Recovery Status: You are in recovery status if you can show a positive COVID-19 test which is between 11 days and 6 months old.
- Full vaccination needed: Should the basic vaccination (with 2 vaccines allowed from the European Medicine Agency (EMA) against COVID-19 be more than 9 month ago, a booster vaccination is necessary. Do you already have the booster vaccination you fullfill all necessaties.
- All guests have to show a questionnaire for passengers at embarkation. Exceptions are not possible.
- The cruise line keeps the right to deny boarding to certain passengers due to the safety of the ship. During the cruise the passengers will be asked for their well-being.
- Mouth-Nose-Protection: Masks are not mandatory on board anymore. Wearing of medical or FFP masks is highly recommended. Subject to change on board.
- As responsible cruise line it is the goal to prevent any infections on board. The necessary measure will be determined by the doctor of the fleet of AMADEUS cruises. He will deliver a judgement of the actual situation of the passenger or crew member and will act accordingly. On board there are COVID-19-antigen tests available to be used in case of a suspicion of infection. Subject to change on board.
- Re-entry into Germany: When entering Germany from abroad, all travelers aged 12 years and older have no longer an obligation to furnish proof of negative testing based on the
Ordinance on Coronavirus Entry Regulations since 1st June 2022. After a stay in a foreign virus-variant area within the last 10 days before return, a special registration, verification and quarantine obligation must be observed. Please kindly check the current regulations prior your trip.
- Recommendation: Pandemic-related changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
