Important information for this voyage (Update: 21st June 2023):
- Health questionnaire: All guests receive an infection protection questionnaire with their travel documents, which they must bring with them to the embarkation. Only people with an unobstrusive result of the infection protection questionnaire are allowed to embark.
- Embarkation requirement:
At the current time, there is no requirement for proof of a vaccination, recovery or testing certificate. A COVID-19 insurance is recommended but no longer required. If a country requires a valid vaccination certificate for entry, the cruise can only be started with the corresponding proof. You can find an overview of the countries concerned here. In individual destinations, a PCR test or a rapid antigen test may additionally be required before or during the trip - also for vaccinated and recovered travelers - due to official requirements. - Antigen rapid test before departure (high seas): In addition, all guests must provide proof of a certified negative antigen rapid test, which must not be older than 48 hours.
- Antigen rapid test during the cruise: At this time, a rapid test is not required; self-testing is recommended.
- Mouth and nose protection: On board, wherever the minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained, the wearing of a mouth-nose protection is recommended, but there is no obligation to wear a mask.
- Recommendation: Due to the pandemic, the hygiene, test, vaccination and/or entry requirements may change at short notice before the start of the journey. Some countries require an online registration prior entry, the time limits and regulations vary. We therefore recommend that you check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in good time before your trip.
Please note that the main onboard language is German, and that there is no special program for English speaking guests.
